How the tool works

  1. 1

    Choose Quick or Complete Setup

Quick Setup takes about 3 minutes and covers 12 universal preferences. Complete Setup adds only the life areas you pick, from 21 available. Mostly one tap per question.

  2. 2

See what's useful and what isn't

Each section is labelled so you learn which details genuinely change an answer — and which are better kept private.

  3. 3

    Review, then copy

We turn your answers into a plain-English profile. Remove or edit any line, then copy it with one button.

  4. 4

    Paste it and use it

Open ChatGPT, start a new chat, paste. We give you a few starter prompts built from your own answers.

Why context improves the answers you get

An AI assistant starts every conversation knowing nothing about you, so it answers for an average person who doesn't exist. Ask for dinner ideas and you'll get recipes for a leisurely evening you don't have. Ask which laptop to buy and you'll get a list, when what you wanted was one recommendation that fits how you actually decide.

Context fixes that without any technical setup. Once an assistant knows you cook for three on 20 minutes, weigh durability over price, and want a decision rather than a menu, the same question produces a genuinely different answer. That's all a Personal AI Profile is: the small set of stable facts and preferences a competent helper would already know.

Who it's for

People who use ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for ordinary life — meals, planning, shopping, travel, household admin, writing — and find the answers generic. You don't need to know what a prompt, a custom instruction, or a memory setting is. If you can answer questions about your own week, you can use this.

What kinds of information are useful

  • How you like answers written — short or detailed, options or a single recommendation
  • Who you usually plan for, in general terms
  • Food you prefer or avoid, and how much time you have to cook
  • What matters when you buy something: price, quality, durability, convenience
  • How predictable your week is and what eats your time
  • The kinds of writing and planning you regularly need help with
  • Your general cost sensitivity and how you like to decide

What should generally not be included

We never ask for the following, and we recommend keeping it out of any AI assistant. Conversations can be retained or reviewed, so treat anything you type as potentially readable by someone else.

  • • Passwords, PINs, or any login credentials
  • • Social Security, passport, or other government numbers
  • • Bank, card, or investment account numbers
  • • Your exact home address or live location
  • • Medical diagnoses, prescriptions, or test results
  • • Other people's private details

How the profile is used

You copy it and paste it into a new conversation, with one introductory sentence asking the assistant to use the information when relevant and to ask rather than assume. Some assistants also have a personalization or custom-instructions field, where the shorter version fits well. We'll show you both routes at the end — there's no file to download and nothing to install.

You'll get several versions from the same answers: a quick profile, a full profile, an everyday-preferences profile, and — where you've given enough detail — separate profiles for shopping, travel, home, and work.
